Bonfire Safety Talk

This afternoon we had a crew of 4 men come in from our local Fire Station to talk to us about Bonfire Night and the safest way to enjoy it. We looked at different slides and had a discussion with Murray about where to watch fireworks and a bonfire, who should light them, how to hold a sparkler and we also saw some pictures of people who have been injured due to fire works, bonfires or sparklers.

The talk has helped us be more aware of the reasons we need to be safe and hopefully we will spread that message before Bonfire Night next week.

We were lucky that at the end Murray let us go out to see the fire engine, look at all the equipment and we got to sit in the truck as well.

Thanks Murray :)
